        It has been a busy couple of days so I will have to do yesterday and today's blog combined into one... But don't fret, I still managed to honour my challenge tasks, I just could not make it to my computer to post the details.

DAY 10

I am simply loving life...

        I feel alive... I am so amazingly busy now that I have taken on this challenge and I am absolutely loving it. I feel motivated, challenged and inspired to DO more and BE better. This journey is already teaching me that there really are 24 useable hours in each and every day, and you CAN make the most of them if you WANT to. I will never forget my mother once said to me that I need to start LIVING AS A SINGER... to eat, sleep, breathe singing and to think of myself as a singer in everything I do... She said I needed to stop living with the attitude of "One day I want to be a singer." I can so proudly say that I completely get it now... I now FEEL like a singer. I SEE myself AS a singer. I am starting to THINK like a singer and it is the most empowering feeling in the world. I have always loved to sing but it has now taken the forefront in my life as my PASSION. The feeling when I am singing is indescribable. The world fades away and I feel weightless. I am starting to understand that I AM THE INSTRUMENT, all of me, and there are so many vital elements that come together to make a great singer; VOCAL TECHNIQUE, MENTALITY, PHYSICAL HEALTH, & so much more! I'm hooked...

CHARITABLE DEED #2
A beautiful friend of mine, Kristy Griffin, works with a Charity Group that send 2nd Hand Clothing to people in need overseas. Her work inspired me to clean out some of my wardrobe and donate it to those in need, so this evening I passed this big ikea bag full of clothes and accessories to Kristy for her to send onto her charity... I hope it helps, even though it's only a small effort...

DAY 8

It really is all about attitude...

Today I proved to myself how much your attitude either helps or hinders you. I was out until 6am this morning (how responsible of me) and had to work at 10.30am. I managed to do my workouts AND as it is now 3:30am I have just finished my day's singing practice. I am determined to not let myself fail this test.

        My voice was extremely tired today from the late nights I have been having. I just practiced easy songs that didn't push me too hard and will allow my voice to heal more by tomorrow.


BODY SCULPTING / FITNESS SESSION #5
        35min Billy's Ab Bootcamp
I managed to do this on one of my breaks at work which was so convenient. It actually helped me feel more energised and motivated to face the day. 
        30min Cardio - Cross Trainer & Treadmill (Jogging)
As I did not complete the full hour in my workout thismorning, I went to the gym at my condo after arriving home from work at 8.30pm and made sure I finished the job.

DAY 7

Better late than never right!?

I did not manage to make this post yesterday as I did not make it home until 6am, but rest assured I still completed my daily practice as required. Doing this challenge is really showing me what dedication is all about and how you ARE capable of MAKING TIME to do practice and do certain tasks each day, no matter how busy you are, it just depends how COMMITTED you are!

BODY SCULPTING / FITNESS SESSION #4
         60min Billy's Bootcamp DVD
I love this range of DVDs because they really do push you to your limits and it is not only very physically challenging, it is also very mentally challenging. It is also so motivating to return each time and notice the improvement in your fitness as you can do more reps and push yourself further. I always start this DVD dreading the hour ahead of me, but within 10 minutes I am focussed and determined to never give up!
