DAY 16

A great day!...

        A very successful day I must say! One live performance in the bag! I had the opportunity to get up on stage and sing a song tonight when we went to see our friends play. It didn't go seemlessly as the bass had a few issues and kept feeding back but it was still great fun none-the-less! Every day that passes I feel more motivated to reach for the stars and I am starting to believe things are possible for me that I before could not see myself doing and I now have the courage to take steps towards those dreams! I booked another photo shoot with my friend Qashrul Hidafi and I have even starting sorting out possibly recording my first malay youtube cover soon. Stay tuned for more updates!

LIVE PERFORMANCE #1
        A few of my friends and I went to watch my friends perform at a local bar tonight and the extremely talented 'Rozy' was ever so lovely as to invite me up to Jam for a song. I decided to sing Superbass because it's so fun to sing and I was only just talking about rapping yesterday on here. I want to say a big thank you to Naza, Dennis & Rozy for letting me jam and for always being so supportive of me and my singing. Here's the video.... (Thanks to Ms Peaches/Petra!)...

HEALTH CONSCIOUS MEAL #18
        This was delicious! I got this recipe for 'Oatmeal Protein Smoothie' from one of my favourite recipe books; Tosca Reno's The Eat Clean Diet Cookbook! So simple to make!.... 1/4 cup oatmeal, 1tbsp natural peanut butter, 1tbsp agave nectar, 1tbsp flax seed, 1 cup skim milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon + ice into a blender and BAM! you have yourself a delicious breakfast!

WEIGHT LOSS SINCE STARTING THE CHALLENGE...
        2.9kg in the past two weeks... I'm not complaining!!... I am feeling happier and healthier and stronger... My personal training sessions with Amir are really starting to show and I am addicted. More! More! More!

BODY SCULPTING / FITNESS SESSION #10
        1hr 40mins Personal Training Session w/Amir - Back/Shoulders & Triceps
We did our first session today focussing on just certain muscles and my-oh-my did he kill me! I have never seen my muscles shake so much, but it was awesome. Amir has been so helpful and is even helping me by teaching me whilst he trains me as I am also currently studying to be a personal trainer and he helps to teach me anything I need to know. I can see some changes in my body already and I am loving it. I don't know why I haven't gotten a personal trainer sooner!
